I remember sigils going for well over 100k.

I remember praying each night that sB or iQ would get their asses online and take favor for America so I could go to UW. (This was prior to my major foray into PvP myself, during which I met and played with and against many of the players I admired and respected for their knowledge of and ability in the game.)

I remember dancing with Lucis in ID1 of Tombs at 2am in the morning when we both would have finals the next day.

I remember when you had to use points to change your attributes. What did they used to call those?

I remember when the only thing of value a PvP'er could earn was sigils. There was no Balthazar faction. No HoH chest. No Zkeys. And only one sigil dropped. Then they increased it to 3, I think.

Oh, and I remember the one build to pwn you all and kill two battling teams simultaneously, leaving the third team the victor: Edge bomb.
I remember all this and more... oh when guild wars was good - I wish I could have it back now

Loved it, not being able to ping your build and having to manually change everything.

Also, I remember when you had to reroll a PvP char if you forgot a rune.

Absorption runes and silver dye both do this to me.

I remember farming griffons outside Camp Rankor with boon spam triggering zealot's fire.

I remember getting screwed by attribute refund points by switching, hating the result, and still needing to go kill crap so I could switch again.

I remember coming out of Mourning Veil Falls with 7 elites.
I remember laughing at warriors and rangers trying to cap stances with the old SoC.

Finally, back to pvp, I remember the old Thunderclap. (The Counter Blow/Battle Rage bar right before that is also pretty awesome. Yeah, I just uploaded that video for this thread. Edit: Whoa, music gets it blocked in a bunch of countries. Sorry.) The old Psychic Instability, too.

You could easily call WM's comeback win against LuM in the GWWC as epic though.

Koreans using Iron Mist with their warriors in GvG. One of the first things I saw when observer mode came out, I think.

Being confused as to what was wrong with a Wammo when it was CLEARLY a premade PVP build.

I remember when guardian was a 2r, 1/4s cast, and the block percentage scaled with prot. I remember legospike, shadow prison warriors, post-factions eurohex & eurospike, glyph sac/MS wiping NPCs at VoD with 5 defensive character a war and a flagger with pre-nerf splinter + arage. So much oldschool shit.

I remember when this game meant more than being a gateway for GW2.
I remember the first nerf to the assassin(do you?.)

I remember 100+ win streaks in RA (or whatever it was called back then), rewarding about half of what was needed to unlock an elite skill.

Gale Warriors.

Boonprots.

EoE Bombing.

When the economy crashed for a day because the Rare Material/Rune traders had their prices reset.

When you were considered a noob Mesmer for packing Empathy or Backfire in PvP.

When our guild leader took Healing Breeze as a warrior "to help the monks."

When we queued for GvG using subpar armor because we couldn't afford the expensive stuff, and we didn't have room to make PVP characters because there were only 4 slots total, and PVP characters could only have one weapon set anyway because character/item creation occurred before you logged into the character.

When the HoD sword and SoA axe were hot shit.

Droknar's Forge was the place to be.
Marhan's Grotto was where you went to show off.

When the talkative players were always the ones who never paid you for a Droks/Desert run.

- I remember Willa the Unpleasant soloing me and my seven other teammates with nothing by heals and spectral procession (This was a real low point).
- Chain Lighting Spikes in TA, before it was called TA, and the lobby was this cool ice cavern thing.
- When AoE didn't cause things to scatter meaning you could farm groups easily with firestorm and Balthazar's Aura.
- Farming Griffin's outside of Amnoon Oasis back before the anti-farm code kicked in.
- Farming Shiroken outside Unwaking Waters and making a bunch of money, most of which I kept.
- When runes (all of them) used to be exorbitantly expensive, and the subsequent crash when ANET added in the Rune Trader.
- Playing a smiting ele in the Hall of Heroes running primarily zealot's fire, and draw conditions.
- Playing a "rezmer" in HoH with very limited success.
- When you didn't see skill activations, as a little bar that filled beneath your HP/NRG but an icon that slowly became opague.
- Me/E Dom/Bsurgers in PvP (I take full credit for this build and I've got the internet to prove it)
- When Sorrow's Furnace opened and Green weapons actually sold for something
- Edenial way back when no one knew how to weapon swap (okay they still don't, but still)
- GvG Cripshots running traps and Distorion (Ruining it for those of us who ran it with fast casting)
- A Gvg season won solely on the back of the skill Ritual Lord, combined with constant spirit spam.
- Getting EoE bombed.
- When getting infused armor took several trips through the Ice Caves Mission. Teammates in the later missions (Like the Ring of Fire) regularly insta-died to spectral agony.

I remember when Frenzy and Tiger's Fury stacked because there was no such thing as stances.
